People

People matter... Don't take that from me - take it from God... 'Things' are good, 'having stuff' is great, 'achieving' is important, but nothing, absolutely nothing matters like people. And people are what make the difference in our church.  In honesty we are not sure we are always getting it right but what we we really want more than anything is to be a community - a genuine community - an authentic community.  Hopefully this page tells you a little about who we are...

Richard Wilson: Rector but also husband, dad, brother, son...  Preaches, looks out for the church, sets vision, laughs a lot... wishes he played more sport... currently NOT got three kidney stones... (click here to read the story),  married to Tory

Lucy and Gavin Tyte
: Outreach Directors - wonderful people, job sharing the role, helping us not only connect with our community but also communicate the hope we have within us.  Live and work from Rose Cottage on the High Street.

Sam Ludwell
: Youth Director - amazing and brilliantly talented - just joined the team having been working with young people in this area for many years.  Sam is married to Luke.

Rae Maddocks
: Church Warden, long time member of the family, wonderful ability to keep us all on the straight and narrow, brilliant encourager, gets things finished... Couldn't do without her!

Shelley Durrant
: Church Administrator, Rose Cottage Kitchen Manager - amazing ability to make sure everything is organised and communicated, great cook, fantastic support to everything that takes place.  Creates order out of chaos.

Dilys Smith
: 'Reader', leader, feeder...  (I'm trying too hard)  A 'reader' means Dilys is licensed to lead services and preach (along with other things).  She has held the vision for Rose Cottage for many years and is currently in Jerusalem working with her favourite Christian Organisation CMJ

Rob and Sarah Bubyer
: Kidz Klub Leaders and partners from Bath City Church.  Amazing couple who have already given years of their lives to the young people of Twerton, primarily, but not exclusively, focusing on primary school aged children. Totally reliable, passionate, energetic, tireless, wonderful.

A church for you
